My Little Pony 1st Birthday Cake and Cupcakes

This was a My Little Pony type cake and also cupcakes for a special little girls 1st birthday, it took me a while to get this pony right, you should have seen my first attempts at doing a pony, it looked like some kind of demented mythical creature...not in a good way, so glad it turned out a bit better than that in the end...

2nd Birthday Car Cake

This was my cheeky monkeys 2nd birthday cake...he has an obsession with cars so this cake seemed a natural choice for him. Now the cake decorating purist in me was mortified at the prospect of putting metal cars on the cake rather than ones I made myself but A: I was seriously running out of time with doing thus one and B: He ended up very happy having toys he could play with after stuffing his face with chocolate cake...win win!!!

Electrician/Handyman Birthday Cake

At the last minute I found out a distant relative was coming down for a visit and it was his birthday, he is an electrician and has been renovating his house for a few years so this was the inspiration behind this chocolate and cream sponge.

Fondant Olaf Snowman from Frozen

I was just playing around with some fondant one day and was inspired by one of little missy's Frozen dolls so here is Olaf from Frozen. Not bad for a first attempt I thought.

Safe to say that missy moo was delighted with this little guy.
